【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthecarbonblackcontentinpolyethylene,polypropylene,andpolybutyleneplastics.Itsusewithacrylicorotherpolarmonomermodificationswhichmightaffecttheaccuracyisnotrecommended.Determinationsofcarbonblackaremadegravimetricallyafterpyrolysisofthesampleundernitrogen.Thistestmethodisnotapplicabletocompositionsthatcontainnonvolatilepigmentsorfillersotherthancarbonblack.Thistestmethodisnotapplicabletomaterialscontainingbrominatedflameretardantadditivesattheend.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesaregivenforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1--ThistestmethodissimilartoISO6964-1986(E)intitleonly.Thetechnicalcontentissignificantlydifferent.
