【摘要】:Thebasemap,fieldmaps,andtheUTMgridlinesareusedduringsearchoperationstoensurethatfieldpersonnelandthecommandpostcanaccuratelycommunicatespecificpositioninformationinthesearcharea.Section5verifiesiftheUTMgridlinesareonthebasemapornot.IftheUTMgridlinesarenotonthebasemap,Section5describeshowtodrawthemonthemap.Section6establisheshowtosetupandpreparefieldmapsforpersonneltouseinthefield.Section7describestheuniformwayofdeterminingandcommunicatingUTMcoordinates.1.1ThisguidedescribesonemethodofsettingupaUniversalTransverseMercator(UTM)gridsystemonabasemapfortransfertoafieldmap.1.2ThisguideprovidesauniformwayofcommunicatingUTMcoordinates.1.3ThisguideisintendedtobeusedwithUnitedStatesGeologicalSurvey(USGS)7.5-minquadrangletopographicalmapswithascaleof1:24000,withorwithoutUTMgridlines.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.
